How do I edit my profile?

To edit your profile, click the My CUtab. Then, click on My Profile in the horizontal navigation bar. Choose one of the options that you want to work with:

  • My Avatar This edits the avatar, which is the icon that appears in your dashboard.

  • My Bio This is where you can edit your bio.

  • My Mobile Emails This is where you can add the email address of your mobile device.

  • My Username This edits your username.

  • Note:
Changing your username will not affect your login username.

What is an avatar, and how can I change mine?

An avatar is an image that you can use to represent yourself visually on CU. It will appear as an icon in your dashboard, and it is what other CU users will use to identify you. To change your avatar, click the My CU tab. In the horizontal navigation bar, click on My Profile. This will take you to your profile page.

Under the My Avatar heading, you can choose a pre-created avatar, or you can upload your own.

How do I change my username and password?

To change your username, click the My CU tab. Then, click on My Profile in the horizontal navigation bar. This will take you to the My Profile page. Scroll down to the My Username section and type your new username into the text box. Click Change.

To change your password: If you signed up for CU through an external site, find the external site's registration page. From there, you can change your password. However, if you signed up exclusively through CU, click on the My CU tab. Then, click My Account in the horizontal navigation bar. Scroll down to the Change My Password section and type your old and new passwords into the text boxes. Confirm your new password by typing it into the third text box. Click Update.

How do I send photos to CU from my mobile phone?

Just send your photos to your site's mobile email address. Just add "mobile@" in front of your site's web address. For example, if your CU site's URL is "www.spotted.domain.com", enter mobile@spotted.domain.com. Then, check your gallery to see your photos (it may take us a few minutes to process them).

Note: You can use the subject line of your email to direct your photos.

If you leave the subject line blank, your photos will automatically be placed in your "Mail Spot" gallery.

If you put the name of an existing gallery in the subject line, your photos will be placed in that gallery.

If you put any other text in the subject line, a gallery will be created with that name and your photos will be placed inside.

In order for us to identify your photos when you send them, we need to know what email addresses you may send us photos from. You can list up to three valid email addresses that you will use to send us photos.

First, click on the My CU tab. Then, click on My Profile. This will take you to the My Profile page.

Scroll down to the My Mobile Emails section and use the text boxes to type in up to three email addresses. Click Update when you are finished.

How do I find out my phone's email address?

Just send an email from your mobile device to your regular email account. The address in the "From" section is your mobile device's email address.
